because that one only works in cold climates. "Using temperature 10 degree centigrade -40 degree centigrade (recommending at 10 degree centigrade -30 degree centigrade)"

The one in this deal has only one wheel.

This thing looks cheap and poor quality. The site is riddled with spelling mistakes ("UPDATD").

Guaranteed to make you look like a complete bellend

You can easily distract people so they won't notice it by wearing a bluetooth headset.

These are pretty much useless as I expect that they would be only allowed to be used on private property (in NSW at least). They have prohibited similar devices like Segways on roads and public places.

Based on the price, dont expect too much. They can do the job but the electronic is not very reliable and the battery is always with small capacity and without brand. The price for Electric Unicycle and Skateboard varies from ~<200 to >$1000, if you want to use this thing to travel to work or use it regularly, do buy the better one, they can travel much further and quicker than the cheap one (also more reliable, you dont want the balance motor fail to work since you need to lean the body forward to control it).

These are actually illegal to drive anywhere besides private property in Australia. Just like a motorised esky, but that doesn't stop people.

    • So are all those chinese dirt bikes - but that doesn't stop anyone and doesn't seem to prompt much enforcement.

Until you stop by a police…

    • motorised esky are small 50cc engines, this is electric. This is a different situation, they are illegal on footpaths like segways.

      • And roads… so what's the difference? I've looked into this a lot due to my store association ;)

Buy from anywhere else except gearbest. If this thing breaks down on you, good luck getting a response from them!

i saw a guy riding this about 2weeks ago at night and it looked awesome, he had wheel that would light up and was going pretty fast… wanted one ever since i saw one .. thanks

    • Police regularly stop motorised scooters and fine them for being unregistered and uninsured motor vehicles. You would stick out like dog's balls to a cop on the beat, so be prepared to pay at least $1400 on top of the purchase price if you choose to ride one in public.

        a cop on the beat

Huh. We are in Australia. Police here do not walk a 'beat'. They do not appear to even have regular patrols by car.

its ok, chances are you wont get the items until next year
wont have to worry about being fined this year!

  • the only thing that makes this illegal is that output power from the motor, as it is 350w. If it was under 250w it would be fine.

you can buy electric bikes these days and are perfectly fine just as long as they are under the power limit.

then again i have no idea how these are legal to sell (target, kmart etc) http://www.razor.com/au/products/electric-ride-ons/crazy-car…

    XL version hass 500w motor
