Then follow these instructions:
Use the code *#06# to get your phone IMEI
Enter in the above site and get two codes. U need the NCK code to unlock the phone.
Now Power on the phone without the SIM card installed
Enter * 983 * 8284 # (a prompt will appear to enter a password)
Enter the calculated code (NCK only) and choose OK
Power off the phone and install any non-optus SIM card
Restart the device

I tried optus unlocker which does not work in my case.
I used a guy from eBay. I think he's in UK. Worked out to $2-3 per phone. Look it up on ebay

Pity it isn't still going I would buy some more. No idea what they're like as a phone but as a cheap way to extend my netflix sub they were fantastic :P

There are phones that do wake on calendar or alarm events, you do realise that, right? Just wondering if this phone does also. Other ZTE phones do.
If we have to spend at least $30 per month, I wonder why anyone would buy $10 phone.
Why would that be the only option? It could be a phone to mainly receive calls by unlocking it & for $5.00 get an Aldi sim that lasts 1 year.
