    I used to have the usb2 version connected to a home server pc and both drives failed due to overheating as there were no fans in the unit.

    Also i would advise to stay away from megabuy, they take your money, confirm your order then a few weeks later tell you its out of stock. Been there done that from a previous deal posted on ozbargain

    I normally dont like to jump on bandwagons, but I too have had an orders in the past with Megabuy.
    Most have gone through ok, but one of them was most definitely "Out of Stock" for weeks (even though my money was sitting in their account).
    The refund took longer than expected, and I know that I had to initiate all communication with them in relation to the delay.

    I'm not going to neg just yet, because my overall opinion on them is 'neutral'. Good deals from Megabuy, just sometimes I think their communication could be a lot better in relation to items delayed for shipment.
