The Lost Symbol $12 @ Kmart

220

Spotted at Kmart Midland WA today was hardcover version of The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown for $12 there were alot of these available. Unfortunatly I didn't have my phone with me so I couldn't take a piccy, I am unsure if it is for this store only. I paid nearly double that just 3 months ago and have not seen it anywhere else this cheap. Happy Reading

Tehe, I have actually found the folks around here pretty friendly compared to some other forums I frequent, I suppose that's because us bargain hunters have to stick together :)

Probably because most 16 year olds that ruin other forums (looking at you Whirlpool) don't need to find bargains as their leeching of their parents still.

        • those bastards give us proper 16 year olds who actually care about saving money a bad name, just ignore them

and those kids actually a few of them have turned out to be 12-14 year olds

  • Can confirm this. Saw it today at Campbelltown Kmart.
    Pretty good in my opinion

  • Can confirm this price in Melbourne :)

  • I was just at Coles to buy Up!, and I saw "The Lost Symbol" hardcover for $10. I considered buying it until I felt the paper quality - coarse, rough, thin and cheap.
"The Lost Symbol $10 at Coles

    • Alas, must be only some Coles. Da Vinci Code at local (Frankston) was priced at $5, but Lost Symbol was still $20. Got a lady to scan in case the 'reduced to clear' sticker had gone astray, but no good. Still $20 in their system.

(And then i wandered over to Kmart and not a Lost Symbol in site in the Frankston store; probably for the best, bought too many books lately and would only be getting this one for the curo value (ie. because of the hype and everyone else getting it)).

  • lol is it that bad?
    dan browns books are ok
    i prefer paper back
    but 10 bucks…. hmmm

  • $12 at the local KMart too, thanks for heads up. =) Probably the same one at Coles an above commenter said, but meh, looks alright to me!
