Great price. I got mine from the Good Guys at that price 2 yrs ago. Best money I've ever spent. If anyone else sees this deal available in other states, could they please let us know?

  • i just bouth a miele s5211 based on peoples suggestion on ozbargain for $299. This one looks pretty good as well. Not sure which one is better. From what I read DC29 is the low end for dyson and has some flaws (http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=70997). Pretty happy with Miele but it is not bagless. So, in the long run I guess it will be cheaper to get the dyson. We have hard floor anyways. So, it does not make that much of difference to us.

  • its all 399 everywhere and under even at clive peter's website (which means if u go into the store u could prob haggle it down further
do a google search u you will find a few online stores selling for 380-395

but i was abit reluctantly as i was told the newer machine's (ie dc23 turbinewas better with the hepa filters and more compact) but just not if its worth the additional 300 (abt 699 before bargainin)..

  • I bought mine 2 weeks ago in clive peters. I just mentioned their website had it for $399 and they just matched it. Same here, was thinking of dc23 but I thought it was not worth paying an extra 300 dollars.

    • Just checked clivepeters website and it is $395.

  • For boxing day sales Retravision Mount Waverley VIC had it for $389 and HN Chadstone had it for $369. So I would expected it should be still possible to get the same prices.

Would anyone know why all retailers are offering similar "Bargain" prices for this particular model. Is is a run out model? I am asking as I need to buy a vacuum cleaner soon. My existing one is likely to breakdown soon.
