Not a bad special offer. Shame about the 6month restriction, but still this deal will prove handy to some.

  • Will my current govia tag work in the clem7? Seems redundant to have 2 tags attached to my car.

    • It should, yes.

      • Will this tag work on other highways too?
(the bonus is for clem7 only, but will the tag work on other highways too?)

All tags should work on all free-flowing systems, Australia wide. Amazing, they managed to standardise something…

          • @thei: Awesome! :)
No extra fees like ATMs for using a "foreign" toll system?

          • @thei: awesome! I've been meaning to get one of those other toll tags, but I'll get this instead.

    • note that the following suggests you would need a FLOW Tag to take advantage of this promotion. from the FAQ:

Q: What happens if I have a FLOW Tag and a tag from another electronic tolling service provider in my vehicle when I use a tollway?

A: If you are on the CLEM7, the toll will be charged to your FLOW account. No charge will show from the other tag provider, though you may find both tags may beep.

presumably if you already have a tag from another service but not FLOW Tag, your account with the other service would be deducted.

    • You can have 2 tags in your car and only 1 tag will be charged when you drive pass the toll point.

      • Hmm, if any tag works for any highway, why would someone have two tags?

        • maybe to take advantage of promotions like this?

    • You can definitely use a go via tag on the Clem 7 - the tag will work on ANY toll road in Australia, and you don't have to buy a Flow tag.

  • Thanks. Was just thinking I must get a tag to coincide with the opening of the new Clem7.

  • $20 in prepaid tolls on Clem 7 equates to just over 2 return trips for a car - the toll is around $4.50 for cars and something ridulous over $7 for trucks. It's not worth the hassle of changing over to this if you already have a go via tag. Not to mention 8 speed cameras…

  • when is the clem7 due to open? do they charge for delivery of invoice by post as well as via email?
