Not sure about full premium membership, I come here for the pools. Aquatics membership should be good for the summer season, at least.
I work nearby and they're convenient for a swim before work :) running around Albert park is not for my old knees.
Gym joining fees are the biggest crook IMO, and its just pure commission and profit.
I don't think so, most yoga studios are worse, they charge like $20 a class, so if you go to a yoga class at the gym once a week it already pays for itself.
They need to print the card and all, those plastic cards ain't cheap
Not worth it I reckon. You can join south Pacific health club for about $80 a month and they have a salt water pool in St Kilda and then you can also use the other gyms in the network like port Melbourne, city, Chadstone, etc.
You can even find people wanting to transfer their contracts on gumtree or get a better deal on the terms if you are a good negotiator.
sheesh $100/month for the gym and a pool… the ozbargain gonna eat you alive :D thanks for sharing though, i live nearby and do recommend this place.
