Think this is a super price for what appears to be a reasonably well reviewed standmixer.

  500W isn't huge for that money. Although the bowl is smaller, this 900W Kenwood mixer for $179 appears to be a better deal.

    It's not just wattage it's the quality of the motor. A 500W motor could be more power efficient then a poorer quality motor at 900W. Also the Kenwood KM280 has a slightly smaller bowl and not to mention a lower quality bowl than the one that comes with the kMix.

    Trust me the kMix would be far better over the KM280 model.

  we have one of these, just without the new creaming beater..
  Wife obviously NEEDS this attachment but its anywhere between $70-$100 shipped separately..

  Its cheaper to buy this deal, remove the attachment and offload the entire brand new unit on ebay :)
