I've been looking for one of these for a while but always considered it too expensive; the price at $309 i consider pretty decent, even for a refurb, but an absolute bargain at this price, plus the added bonus of 5% cash back with CashRewards. 20% off Site-Wide When You Pay with MasterPass @ oo.com.au - Ends This Wednesday

Comes with a 1 year warranty, same as what Dick Smith offer on their brand new T100's

Alternatively, can pick up new from eBay/Dick Smith's with current 30% off sale for $279.30 C&C ($9.95 postage) with CDICKSMITH30 coupon code (2.5% cash back with CashRewards also).

  • Just in case you don't know, the T100HA (With cherry trail) was launched a few days ago, so prices will likely drop soon! Still a good price tho!

    • The T100HA is a much more capable machine and will likely have a price tag to match - I'd guess $499 - especially with the Australian dollar so low.

I don't think they need to drop the T100TAF much below $300 to sell them.

      • Possibly… I don't think it will be 499 for long.
Can be had for around 310 EUR right now but that's before launch, so i'm sure it will be available for around 400 shortly after launch.

Anyway just something to bare in mind. The CPU performance of cherry trail is really not much better anyway - and the resolution on this is the same.

Can't do much better for 250!

  • I use this every day on the bus for about 1.5h so it gets a good workout. This is 80% tablet/20% laptop. The track pad while functional is quite bad (compared to a great track pad on the X205TA).

Speed wise it's great for web and word, ok for older games like war3.

The lower screen res is good, not bad. Better performance, better battery life.

  • DSE ebay is doing 30% off . from 399 ,which makes it around 280 for a brand new one.

I think it is a personal call if the 30aud etra is worthy for a brand new one

    • Yeah, stated that in the original posting
