$777 -- South Pacific 10-Night Cruise inc $200 Credit from Sydney @ eSeaCruising

80

Eseacruising is dropping the price of a 10-night South Pacific cruise to just $777 per person, twin share — that's up to 54% cheaper than the regular brochure fare and one of the cheapest pre-Christmas sailings we could find.

As an added bonus, guests will receive $200 onboard credit per cabin, which can be used during their holiday.

What's included: A 10-night cruise on Carnival Spirit to New Caledonia and Vanuatu in an Inside Cabin with $200 onboard credit

Other options: Upgrade to an Outside Cabin for $1069 per person or a Balcony Suite for just $1118; prices are per person, twin share.

Travel date: Valid from Sydney on December 9.

Book by October 21 unless sold out prior.

About the cruise: Visiting Mare, Noumea, Lifou Isle and Port Vila, this 10-night cruise on Carnival Spirit visits a variety of South Pacific hot spots on its round trip journey from Sydney. Refurbished just this year, the vessel is classed as 4-star and Fodor's Travel calls it a "sleek ship".

The offer includes all main meals plus 24hr pizza and ice-cream available. The ship features an array of pools and spas, including Carnival's Twister Waterslide, plus a mini golf and sports court.

Well TravelZoo, you lost me. Having to provide my email address before I can even see the offer on your site is a no-no for me. See you never.

  • 54% cheaper is a bit of a stretch, though it's not a terrible deal. We just did 7 nights to Noumea/Lifou/Vila for ~$1100 in a balcony room on Pacific Dawn, for comparison. Wonder why there's only 1 extra port for 3 extra nights? Days at sea are loooong…

    • Can you share link for that deal?

      • No, websites tend not to keep details of expired prices.

        • Ok. Can you recommend some sites to look for cruise deals. I couldn't find any. thanks

        • @dealonaustralia: No, we just went through a travel agent. From my understanding, you'll generally get the best last minute prices that way.

        • @dealonaustralia: I used www.cruise1st.com.au to find a 9 night Pacific Island cruise (Noumea, Lifou, Mare & (sadly missed cos "weather") Isle of Pines) for $646 pp triple share a balcony room on Carnival Legend in February 2015. I booked directly, about 2-3 months before departure, but I like this site for finding cheap cruises :)

  • This deal is not as good as it may seem.

Keep in mind that for $777 you get "Guaranteed Interior Stateroom", which means that you may get any available interior stateroom available. If you are lucky, you may get a reasonable one, but if not - you may end up at the very front or rear of the ship (where it can be really wobbly).

But if you want a better cabin, you will have to pay the prices which are not that special at all but rather common.
