Philips Blu-Ray Player BDP1300 $39 (Was $59, $49) @ Coles Instore Only

200

People might remember these being on sale a month or so ago for 1/2 price (well not really according to the Phillips website)

Since then they have dropped from $59 to $49 to the current selling price of only $39. It is safe to confirm that this price is at the very least Victorian wide (I have visited two different Coles stores) but would ask members from interstate to confirm if this special is Australia wide.

What do you get? A pretty basic Blu Ray player but from my personal experience they are of reasonable quality and reliable.

This is a instore price only. Coles online still displays $118 (http://shop.coles.com.au/online/national/philips-blu-ray-pla…)

  • Any known way to check for stock other than calling around?

    • +2

Randwick had some last time I was there, didn't look like they were going anywhere

  • Was posted at this price previously, but unpublished due to inadequate stock.

Depends on store. Many I have visited have at least 20 units in stock so that number is hardly inadequate. I believe those visiting major shopping centres will find they have no stock whilst those who go to smaller stores in the suburbs will have better luck.

The previous deal with hardly any stock one was posted at $9.95 wasn't it?

      • At one store only too i think.

      • That's correct. Just hard to track those removed deals.
        Forgot how cheap it was.

There have been a couple of deals for this unpublished.
OP has verified enough stock exists in this deal.

Got lots of stock at coles summerhill reservoir

  • I paid $41.65 delivered via eBay during CLICK15. UI and DVD upscaling are adequate. I hope I can add it to my Harmony 650 easily.

  • Just paid $49 like 10 minutes ago :/

    • Which store? Go back and ask for the manager. Show them this post and unless they are really mean they will most likely price match it.

      • Caringbah NSW. Yeah I'm going to go back tomorrow hopefully they will refund the difference

There was a lot at Yarraville VIC Coles (towards the back of store) at $39 so if you travel on the Westgate bridge it is only a slight diversion.

  • I picked one up on Monday for $9.95 after spotting the unpublished deal from last week. Last one was tucked behind some other boxes so I nabbed it. Seems to work alright and as already mentioned the DVD upscaling works well enough.

    • 9.95??!

      • Yes $9.95, I saw the deal title after it was unpublished last week.

        • Don't suppose you have a receipt by any chance mate?

        • +2

@TheVoucherKing: I do, I will snap and upload it when I get home

        • @TheVoucherKing: what can you do with the receipt?

        • @angilinwago:

Im going to try and get refunded the difference as I paid $49.
