Found this under Hot Offers on Vodafone Online Store. Get the Vodafone 4G R216 for $59 (save $20) and a 3GB starter pack included with free delivery. Cheapest deal I've seen on a Vodafone 4G modem product.

pretty sure they are not unlocked. you can however unlock them by spending on prepaid credit, or paying the fee on this page (https://unlock.vodafone.com.au/voila/handsetunlock/self-serv…)
I bought it last year from Dick Smith for the same price. Mine came unlocked and had been using it on Optus network (Optus and Amaysim). What makes this modem so great is it has an external aerial connection and reasonable wifi. We had it hooked up to a high gain roof mounted antenna and were able to access a very stable internet connection, while staying at a families bush block.

This was cheaper a year ago. Posted on Ozbargain but deal was removed.
Had to sign up to the $30 Vodafone plan and you got a free 4G modem. You could also cancel the $30 plan after the first month.
This current deal is also pretty good.
The modem itself retails for US299 each.

Probably an old price, and not a price any ozbargainer would pay.
Also, there is a recent deal for Telstra 4G mifi device for $30 or $40 dollars.
Is it unlocked? Can I use with any oversea mobile sim while traveling as hotspot?
