Adobe account is a catch :(

Most other ways to get adobe photoshop are not legit/or allowed on this site…..its a expensive piece of software sadly….

Edit: Besides when they first removed the activation for CS2, many people grabbed it… Look for related articles and it may still have a intact link…

        • I found i had adobe account before - just reset the password and started download :)
          Thanks mate!

        • @electricbluee: ok no problem….

An alternative is GIMP which is free and open-source.

    • +1 on GIMP. Well worth having a look at. It depends on what you want to use it for.

I find GIMP quite hard to use. It is not as intuitive as PS in general. But well, it is free…

      • I'd go as far as to say I hate GIMP. :( PS all the way!

Seems like the Kat family doesnt like GIMP !

        • Yeah I got recommended it once but it is so frustrating to use….

    • Gimp is not Photoshop. Gimp is gimp. If you do try gimp, get gimpshop from sourceforge:

      http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimpshop.mirror/
(Apparently gimpshop. com is run by a troll who adds spyware to gimpshop)

      Or gimpphoto:

  • How about you buy it?

Bit late now… he's presumably using CS2…. To offer an cheaper/free alternative we would need to know what he needs it for.

For example I use clip studio pro for my needs, but mine are relatively more narrowed to particular features…..

Besides the Adobe range is pretty expensive, even if you are using a subscription… Plus the 'Australia tax' they have applied to their digital products.

      • It actually isn't too bad espically if you are a student and buy it at the start of the year.

  • If it's just for short-term use, you could always download the trial version.

Otherwise, I believe their Creative Cloud offering is quite affordable now - $10/month or so.

    Good luck!

    • Short term not so bad, but a little to much for my liking… But it good to see the suggestions on here for other people still looking….

  • Adobe's new subscription based models mean it costs pennies in order to actually own photoshop. I'm paying $10/mth and get photoshop and lightroom for full usage.

    • When you say "own", you mean perpetually rent
