10% off Comprehensive Woolworth's Travel Insurance

140
ITSBEENAYEAR

I pulled this code from a targeted email. The code should be generic and work for all.

Looks like the discount only applies to Comprehensive insurance packages.

"To receive your 10% off, simply click or enter the promo code below within the next 12 months." (05/10/2015)

I have used Woolworth's travel insurance in the past, never made a claim. I like that their products include natural disaster cover and I assume ash clouds from volcanoes. (aka cancelled Bali flights with no payouts!!!)

Happy travels

    So is it cheaper than all the other travel insurance?

      The value of travel insurance is subjective to one's individual needs. In my circumstance, Woolworth's comprehensive product was best value in regards to low upfront cost and a broad level of cover for most incidence that commonly while travelling.

    • On boy, I have agree with JV.. Almost everyone provides 10% just for taking insurance online (http://www.qbe.com.au/Personal/Leisure-Travel/Annual-Multi-T…), so as such 10% discount is not a bargain!

      • QBE is outrageously over priced, and the 10% discount doesn't even make it come close to 1cover/woolworths prices for similar amount of covers. And reviews for QBE are pretty dismal.

      • I agree that many providers offer online discounts for taking up their services and where better to post such discounts than Ozbargins.

        There are some minor difference in the benfits table but a quick comprehensive insurance price check;
        Usa - 05/10/215 - 12/10/2015 - Age 30
        1Cover = 81.25
        Woolworths = 85.05 & 76.56 after discount

        • and its $78 with southern cross insurance (no special discount) for the same details..and seems to have above average ratings.

          Unfortunately, with the amount of "Big Data" analysis now, not everyone will get the same pricing for the same details..

    • Unlike others
      - free children cover
      - individual item cover $3000 (not capped at 1000 or so)
      - covers many things excluded by other insurers (need to check pds). doesnt specifically exclude downhill mountain biking like others, from memory with nomads such a policy cost double

  • From personal experience I can honestly say that Woolwoerth travel insurance was the best for me to deal with. Its support was easy to contact while in mexico when my bags got lost

  • Good work Rusty Ben!

  • Good one - held up really well in a comparison to my usual insurer 1cover

    So I got caught out by the volcano in Bali last year and had to make a claim. Made sure I was across the PDS and though not clearly covered also submitted my alternative return flight. Didn't get much of a confirmation but when I rang up a couple of weeks later heard they fully accepted my claim and had $1000+ reimbursed a week later hassle free. Just got another policy for my next trip to Bali. Can def recommend from personal experience.
