Similar to what they had on Amazon UK earlier this year they now have the same promotion on Amazon USA.
So if you have an eligible account(my regular account with an Aussie address and a 28 degrees card was), if you purchase $50 worth of Amazon Gift Cards in one order and follow the checkout instructions within 3 days you will receive a code for $10 credit. The $10 promotional code is valid until the 16th of December(USA Date). Only 1 code per account.
I know the dollar sucks at the moment, but if you were planning on buying something anyway then this'll help to make things slightly cheaper. :)

          I didn't receive any email. I noticed a banner whilst browsing the site and just followed the bouncing ball so tospeak.
          Plus since a user commenting below has gotten it to work then I'm not sure how targeted it is.

      Just tried. You can use your amazon gift card balance to purchase PSN cards however the bonus $10 credit is not available to use.

    @bluepanter - The conditions state that as the long as the item purchased is sold by Amazon themselves then the $10 bonus credit can be used. However I can't guarantee anything…

    I think your eligibility for these type of promo might have something to do with your email subscription setting with amazon. My brother has everything ticked while I had none and he's eligible but I'm not. Something to keep in mind next time.

    It still showed up as eligible (message in a grey box at the top of the page) when I went to purchase. I've got the gift card, but the promo credit hasn't show up yet.
