50% off is a great discount, just wished they stocked more of the haircare brands I actually want to buy.

  • Does this include hair colour?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • Recommendation on a good hair gel/wax?

Super broad question. What's your hair type, and what kind of style are you trying to achieve?

    • +3

I use the Schwarzkopf clay and paste.

They are both really good at styling the hair and keep it looking natural. I don't like my hair looking really shiny and oily which makes it obvious I use products on my hair. I see guys in the CBD with really shiny styled hair and just gives off the impression that they're trying too hard.

I use the paste when I want to look like I got out of bed with that hair style, hair is completely matte. I'll use the clay when I want to add a little texture to the hair without going overboard, perfect for going out/dates.

Most of my colleagues don't believe me when I tell them I use some styling products on my hair.

      • Thanks, but I can't quite understand the difference between the clay and the paste after reading the descriptions.

EDIT: OK, I think I got it after reading a second time - I think it's time for my afternoon caffeine fix :)

    • I like the Rok Waxx brand - https://www.priceline.com.au/dominate-rok-waxx-85-g

It holds well, but being a wax it can be difficult to wash off your hands

    • Another question, gel or wax guys? (For a daily hold of an undercut)

I use gatsby which you can't get here… If only they stocked it. Smells great too

  • 50%! wow :O i'm so sad that my local priceline pharmacy turned into some other random pharmacy.. it used to always be stocked up :( now I have to travel much further, but worth it for that discount.

    • Same here. My local (Greensborough) is so small and they rarely have what I want in stock. They used to be a much larger store before they took over a small pharmacy in the same shopping centre.

  • None of the H&S range included. Lame.

OR I could learn to read.

  • Has anybody noticed that prices at Priceline are far higher than other equivalent outlets?

    • YES. This, plus the fact that every pharmacy is now being turned into a Priceline is a worry.

    • Yeah their regular prices are not as cheap as Chemist Warehouse for just about everything I've ever needed. Priceline's sale prices are usually pretty good though. Not sure if they have a price matching policy like Terry White either.

      • I asked today whether they price matched on skincare (in order to avoid having to drive round to the Chemist Warehouse) and the answer was no. Priceline charge $55 for the moisturiser I use, problem is it is only £10 online.

I wish they sold Aveda. THAT needs huge discounts.

  • Literally only hair products, not accessories. :(

    • +1

It's mentioned in the title and text that accessories are Excluded.

Time to stock up on more joico! Thanks OP

  • Gawd just went to my nearest store to find the haircare shelves nearly empty. People were grabbing whatever they could get their hands on. Felt like a post apocalyptic scene!

Store girl said she didnt have any other stock of anything, so we were a bit bummed out. Bought some random crap like the others and left.
