Dodi Minimal Round Outlet Sink Mixer $69 @ Masters (Vic - Ferntree Gully) Save $251

90

Found this in the local Masters (Ferntree Gully store) - good looking solid tap. Ours was leaking so were looking for a new one - fitted the bill perfectly. Apparently they over ordered them and had an excess stock which they're trying to clear, so not sure if its other stores. Hope it helps if you looking for a tap.

  • Nice… are these easy to install?

Anyone replaced the old school tap and 2 handles with 1 of these? and what do you do to patch up the holes in your sink from the handles?

Buy some car bog, but seriously if you are asking these questions then you need a plumber and a new basin with one hole.

      • I'm not sure why luke73 got negged? i agree with him!
This tap is designed for modern sinks with one hole.

    • I installed it yesterday - but it was with a similar mixer tap. Inside the box there's two connectors and fastner screw. The tricky bit was taking out the old tap. Take your time and look up on you tube on how to change a mixer tap. Turn off your water - including the water from boiler for hot water. First time I've changed a tap so was quite proud :)
If you have separate tap holes not sure sorry.

      • There used to be porcelain ones around. Probably saw them 30+ years ago though, when people had a sink with only cold water in there old out/back of house toilets. It may have come with basins in times gone by.

  • Nice one - I got one of their cheapies ($40) and it isn't great!

Save 251??? Haha.. what a crazy markup.. you can guarantee they arent selling at a loss.

  • is this more suited to a bathroom or kitchen sink?

  • It says sink in the title, so that means kitchen or laundry generally. If it says basin, then it is for the bathroom. Here is a link I found which pictures the tap.

    • Thx for the link. At Masters it was under bathroom section but guy said its fine to use in either place, just the actual tap where water comes out sits a bit higher in this model then the normal Kitchen ones, but found that useful so far for filling kettle etc..

I have used Methven mixers and shower roses throughout my house, they have been great and they were well priced. All my taps/shower are now Methven and they have an excellent warranty (length varies with product chosen, for example my shower is lifetime, and the kitchen tap is 15 years, some are 20 years and some budget lines are one)

  • Any sitings at other Masters'?
