Amazon UK have the Futurama box set going quite cheap. For some reason, the four 'movies' are not included in this set. Please note this is a Region 2 DVD.

Zavvi is only region 2 as I can see, so It wouldnt be compatible with most dvd players
Play them on your PC, using VLC. VLC reads DVDs in "data" mode, so you won't need to change the region of your drive.
On windows PCs, you'll also have to hold down left-shift on the keyboard while you are inserting the disk, to prevent windows from trying to auto-play the DVD with media player. Media player WILL want you to change the region of your DVD drive, but you can only change it a few times, so don't do that.
If you want to watch it on a larger screen than your computer has, then all you need is a cable to connect your PC or laptop to your big-screen TV.

Just because it's illegal, doesn't mean everyone's obeying stupid legislations, that is not in the interest of the greater public and society.

Same. I have all the available blu-ray releases and the quality is excellent. Wish they would release the earlier seasons and movies on blu-ray.

Just be careful with Zavvi's cheap, thin and nasty packaging. May not arrive undamaged and not be to everybody's liking.
The earlier seasons were produced in SD so they would have to be upscaled. Your TV, DVD/Blu-ray player already does this.
Dont understand the need for animation on blu ray - why pay the premium for sharper lines and blacker blacks?
So you get sharper lines and blacker blacks.
For example Archer in HD is awesome.
Futurama used 3D and computer animation quite a lot which means there is a lot fine detail to be had over say Family Guy.
MMmmmm dat sped up squeaky voiced interlaced and non-square pixel DVD goodness.

When you say the movies aren't included, does it still have season 5? Because each movie was turned into 4 half hour episodes that became season 5. So if this collection contains season 5 (and I would assume it does), it's not as big a deal that it doesn't have the full movies (as movies) as well.
I have no strong feelings one way or the other.
