Unless you're really in a hurry I would wait for some 'true' bargains (I picked up some Phillips SHP9500s for $60 of COTD). I have used lower end sennheisers before and they're…not great; not sure about these specifically.

anybody use them for gaming with the mic?
they're probably just as good as most of the $150 'gaming' headsets
(but you won't get the full gaming experience if there's no green LEDs on them)
The biggest difference is gaming headsets support fake surround sound (eg 7.1) and actually do a reasonable job (I haven't tried doing fake surround over a 3.5mn jack).
Generally gaming headsets aren't there for good audio reproduction, but they sometimes have better microphones. The new Logitech headsets have been designed to offer good sound quality; are they actually audiophile grade? No idea =P
I've used the fake 7.1 with an ASUS sound card + normal headphones, worked pretty much the same as on a logitech headset with it built-in.
Works perfectly on PS4 for me

How much do they cancel outside noise? I need some headphones for a long plane trip? Does anyone have experience with them- should I go something different? Thanks :D
