Indeed a good price, I spent around $80 early this year for one kingston bugdet 8G.

Oh, considering its US$ then not that attractive price.

Still about $50,heaps better than local.

  • Will this work on Macbook Pro early 2011?

About this Mac says "Your Mac contains 2 memory slots, each of which accepts a 1333 MHz DDR3 memory module."

I currently have 2x2gb ram sticks installed. Which of the following set-ups would be optimal?
    1. 2GB (1333) + 8GB (1600)
    2. None + 8GB (1600)

    Cheers

  • Thanks spockter, been wanting to find a deal for my son's Toshiba laptop & this'll do nicely. Tough to run a fast VM on 4GB RAM.

This is just what I am looking for but USD36.25 approx AUD50 - Can purchase from MSY/UMART for not much more and then have a much easier return process if there's any problems?

    • +1

Can You please point me towards this MSY link you speak off as the cheapest 8GB DDR3 SODIMM low voltage I can find is ~$65 and thats not even at MSY

  • +1

Isn't this the type that lots of people were looking for for that cheapo Acer? If so, this is definitely very cheap.

    • +1

Certainly is. I'm thinking about buying one for my other cheapo Acer :) 2gb just crawls one you open a few things at once. I got my other for I think $74 which was about the best price going at the time.

  • Argh, never been this low before. I have had my eye on RAM for months, then needed some quickly for VM and ended up getting it locally for about AU$78.

  • Does anyone know if this will fit the Logical Blue Horize laptop? I have 8gb RAM, but thinking of increasing to 16gb.

  • I ordered a single stick last night. I then placed another order this morning. What are the chances I will get two sticks?

    • I reckon you will get it

  • +1

I managed to get two on one order by chatting to a customer rep..

    2 x Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB Single and 1 x Crucial 8GB Single DDR3 1600 for $96 USD delivered

  • I got two for 67.51 USD shipped. Not sure why it was no problem to do so? I have US prime.

  • Don't know too much about RAM but (according to the Crucial "app" I downloaded) to increase the RAM from 2GB to 8GB, my ACER Aspire notebook (E14 ES1-411-C6GN) needs "8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V 1024Meg x 64"
The above deal is closed but price isn't much more. Will it be compatible with my laptop?

    Thanks
