Apparently stock for my order should be arriving early next week - it got dispatched from the supplier this week. Theoretically could be in my hands by next weekend.
Just wondering which store/State your orders are. My Alexandria store rep emailed me early this week saying expected stock arrival is 2-3 weeks according to Canon. Best thing is I am flying out end of next week.

I have collected mine today from a post office as StarTrack screwed up my delivery. This is Melbourne South East.
As fas i know Canon got stocks,(they confirm me & i csn see that now i can add it to cart on Canon au store, which i couldnt do earliet). Call your store to get more details.

My store rep, Chadstone VIC told me Canon stock arrived Mon. 26 Oct 15 and store should receive the lens within this week. The store did say ETA is 1st week of Nov, which seems to be fairly accurate.
I told my store not to dispatch but give me a call instead as I lives few block away only. Yet, I haven't heard anything other than "on its way".

Still haven't got it. Called my store today and they said that Canon has confirmed they have stock. They will dispatch to a distribution centre, which then dispatches to Good Guys. He said anywhere between 1-2 weeks away still :(

Alexandria store is about to receive the stock this or by next week. They have 5 in order including mine :)
The items are in transit from the distributor to Alex store and the dristribution center is in VIC. No wonder Victorians getting the stocks earlier.
I have asked them not ship but will collect it as I will be out of town. Dont want it get lost in the delivery chain.
Received the same email from Alexandria earlier in the week too. Hopefully it arrives to them tomorrow or early next week!
Mine actually arrived in store on Friday, and could have been picked up on Saturday. I opted for delivery and received it today. Happy days.

Yeah still haven't received mine yet too. They said they received a Canon delivery this week but it didn't include our lenses. The other 4 people waiting with me are in the same boat. Let's hope to get a phone call by the end of the week!
