ALDI Liquor Free Shipping over $100 (Includes Beer) - East Coast Only

80

Free shipping again at Aldi Liquor, this time a $100 min rather than the prior $150. Including Beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on their newsletter and they sent an email this morning. I can't find it mentioned on site, but going through the checkout with just beer, it is giving free shipping for over $100.

Unfortunately the Leffe prices are up from when I last stocked up, and their beers are rather limited now.

  • note that $100+ free shipping only starts on the weekend I think, otherwise a $200 minimum limit - just ordered $200 of their award winning wines :?)

    • I don't think so. I believe it is working now. As I mentioned above I tried it. I went through to the checkout delivery calculate shipping part, and with $119 of beer only, it is showing "Free Shipping $0.00"

      • +1

Actually you're both correct. The site issues an alert that free delivery requires a $200 order and then at the checkout its only $100 . 😁 … !!

        • Hmm, odd. Where did you see that alert? I didn't notice that.

  • Confirming delivery is free under $200. Has anyone tried the storm beer? It is so cheap - do you get what you pay for?

    • I've seen on whirlpool and here people say it is good. I've not tried it though. An import too.

    • I found the Rivet (vietnam brewed) to be a bloody decent beer for the price and with no ill effects the next day after a heavy night.

but it is out of stock on the website :(

the SAINTE ETIENNE is a reasonable beer. definitely worth what you pay.

    • its ok same as most aussie tap beers. it's worth the price they charge :)

    • The James Boags copy lager is quite decent, especially for the price. I'm gonna try the Storm Dry next

  • +1

For the beers, $47 is a very good price for Hoegaarden. They're $60 at Dan's at the moment. Somtimes they will do a sale and match Aaldis price, but that's usually delivery only (then they sting you with delivery costs)

    • I might finally try it.

They have those Oktoberfest beer packs too, but in comparison to the usual prices for German 500ml cartons, 19.99 isn't that great a a deal.

Shame they upped their price on Leffe. That said, for the Brune (my personal fav) $69.99 is sadly the cheapest you'll get it anywhere.

      • Hoegaarden definitely isn't for everyone, but I'm quite a fan. Worth a try for sure!

Leffe's are good but yeah… that $10 price hike is unfortunate. I managed to score myself a carton of Leffe Tripels for $65 due to a pricing error at my local First Choice (meant to be the price for 12, but they had it marked as 24). It was a sad day when those ran out!

        • LOL nice. That is actually a Leffe variety I've never seen here, let along tried.

Brune is their weakest beer ABV wise, but I like it more than Blonde or Radieuse.

        • Yeah, the Tripel is rare indeed and usually the most expensive of the bunch. I was cheering that day!

        • @Poimandres: I got to stop trying new beers. I might enjoy them, but I'm finding now that I like a handful of beers much more, and rather get back to them! Especially when I find some premium beers at a good bargain price, or mis-prices. Like I recently got a case of Chimay Cinq Cents about half price (not cheap still, but I figured I'd never pay full price). But I long to get back to mainly drinking personal favs Southwark Stout, Zywiec Porter and Leffe Brune…

        • I tell you what, I'll buy a carton of Zywiecs and swap you for the Chimays! hahaha

        • @Poimandres: LOL. I haven't tried it yet :) Tonight I'll uncork one. :)

Mmmm beer…. I'm getting thirsty. Waiting for the weekend and (quite) a few beers
