  • IS there a 256GB version of these?

  • Can't see any but you can get a 256GB SSD for about the same price, less $50 voucher

Yeah, but if you were burdened with a macbook with no expandable drive you would also be looking for USB alternatives ;-)

if i'm using a $50 voucher to get these two, do i still get another $50 voucher?

    • Nope

      • You sure on that? Thought there was no issue using the voucher from the previous deals as long as the total transaction is over the $100 or $200 mark…?

        • as long as the final payment after $50 voucher discount is over the $100 or $200, yes it will work

    • I think you can based on the latest ebay deal post. Maybe have a read.

  • +2

These are great. Very compact and no more accidental bumps ruining files. They do get hot though as noted by myself and other users on OzB. Also, easy to misplace.

    • I can also confirm that they become very hot during use, we bought one as an attempt at an inexpensive storage expansion for an old macbook air and the drive and the port become too hot to handle after about half an hour of use, we've relegated ours to use for transferring files between computers in brief bursts now.

    $113 from Wireless 1

    • Do you get the eBay $50 voucher?

      • You're spending more than $100 and you can select Click & Collect at Woolworths & BIG W - seems to meet the criteria.

  • most reviews say it becomes very hot after 5 mins. buy or no buy? =)
