I was looking for a LOGITECH Wireless Trackball Mouse M570. Officeworks was selling them for $50 but last one in the closest shop, the box was opened so I waited and found this one in the morning.

Just want to say that this is an excellent Trackball and also my first ever.
Best mouse I have ever used. Last for years, easy to clean the ball, batts last for ages. If you ever use a laptop on a train, bus or in café, you will love using this puppy. If it feels a little strange at first, give it an hour or two and you will never go back.
Damn, always wanted to try one of these.

Its really nothing special. I actually hate them, but my dad loves his.
If you hook up the laptop to the TV, these are a must while you lounge around on the recliner. Good in bed also, even though they don't vibrate.
I just use my phone and unified remote in bed.
So the deal is Office works have this for $50 but in store only could be hard to find .. or DS have it for a few dollars more but for today only.
And DS will have it tomorrow for their it's Thursday sale. Then on Friday for their "Days that end in a Y" sale, then it will go up on Saturday before going back down again for their "Have to think of a snappy name for this sale" sale. Then Monday will be the "Sale to end all sales" before the Tuesday "Mates sale". Then the price will probably go up again for a day or two just to justify another "sale" on Friday for their "We haven't sent you a sale email for at least 28hrs so here's a sale" sale.
Rinse, Repeat.
I actually went in to my local Office Works yesterday for one of this but their last one looks like it had been returned - box opened. So I didn't want to take it.
I have to get out of my way to go to the other shops so I was looking for alternatives.
While searching for alternative in the morning I came across DS's offer so I took it, for a couple of dollars more.
DS has items on sale as well so I thought it was worth posting it.
It's a legitimate sale, even if it occurs with almost clockwork regularity. I'm as guilty as anyone else in this forum for owning boxes of Eneloops from Dick Smith sales.
People pointing out particular items in DS sales, like this, has allowed me to grab actual bargains. Truth be told, it's also allowed me to amass a pile of cheap random items, I'm sure I'll find a use for one of these days…. (but they were such a bargain)
