Saw them on the weekend! Nice little bonus! Cheers TA

Want this so badly but they're asking for a cc or PayPal, (I have neither) even though it's free! :,(
    Plz help

    • You can buy a gift card from the supermarkets to top up your account instead of CC or PayPal.

The best way is to get the Google survey app and get paid credit into your account to "pay" for free stuff like this.

Nice! I've seen this suggestion before, but never bothered. 3 free albums today and I thought I'dd try. Installed Google Opinion Rewards - and about 10 mins later had a survey come in - $1.00 credit, free albums are mine!!

  • Fantastic album! Can't recommend it enough.

    Loving these Free Albums!

    • keep them coming :)

  • One of my favourite albums. Saw them last weekend at Freo Arts Centre. They were great, but the show was nowhere near long enough. Silly Arts Centre 10pm curfew on Saturday nights!! It's a WA thing.

    • Should have gone to the after party, they played a great set and bumped in to Tyrone whilst he was waiting for a taxi at 2am, top bloke :)

  • Can I get it and download it onto iTunes?

    • Yes. Log into Google Play through your PC browser and you'll have an option to download the files. Then you can add them manually to iTunes.

Note that Google Play only allows you to download each album twice, for some reason.

      • thought that was odd so I googled and …

"When you download using Safari, Internet Explorer, or Firefox, you can download a song to your computer two times. When you use Google Play Music for Chrome or Music Manager, you can download to your computer an unlimited amount of times."

        edit: beaten to it below.

Yes, use Google Music Manager to download all your free or purchased tracks.

Or there is a plugin for chrome browser that should work on Mac, Win, Linux.

Or if you go to the link above, then purchase it, you should have a link to download it in your browser. This method limits you to 2 downloads per track, but if you use chrome it will bring up a prompt that offers to redirect you to the chrome app mentioned above.

Alternately use the Google Play Music app on your rooted Android phone, then download the track/s for offline use (tick cache in settings, can switch to external SD card too), then look for Play Music Exporter here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2620331

      Enjoy!

      • Is there an option to download the whole album with one click or do you have to download one track at a time?

        • If you're in Chrome on the PC and have the above extension installed, on the album's track listing page click the three vertical dots (aka overflow menu) to the right of the album name header, and then click Download album.

        • @MiniMoo: Thanks mate, that did the trick!

  • Coming to canberra soon. Can't wait!

This deal is too good to RÜFÜS.

  • Great band, was going to buy the album but hey thanks for the bargain!

  • Thanks OP!

  • Cheers! How do we add this to our music library on android? I downloaded it through Google Music but I can't see it stored on my phone anywhere and can only play it through the Google Music app?

Download tracks then transfer via USB?

    • +1

Some apps unofficially support GPM but your best bet is to download onto PC and transfer via USB

  • Thanks for the post tightarse. How did you find out about these free albums from Google Play? Do you receive some sort of notification?

  • This album is amazing!

  • Thanks.

  • Good album. Already had this, but would be a definite download if I hadn't. "Sarah" is my favourite track.

Great stuff :) I haven't updated my music collection for 15 years so its nice to have all these free albums lately, some of them are pretty good

  • Nice to see so many Rufus fans here. Good taste, guys. :)

  • Any other good free EDM albums available on Google Play?

  • This band is very easy listening.

  • Great band, saw them on Friday night. This album will always send me back to driving out of Vegas through the desert to San Fran.

    Sundream <3

    • No shit. As soon as I posted this, within 5 seconds, You Were Right came on shuffle on Spotify. I guess today is jangly synth pop Friday!
