Mine were great for about 20 minutes then they died.
There's a ticking noise coming from the amp and the green light on the control box lights up in time with the ticks.
Sometimes it catches on and I can play something for a few seconds and then 'tick, tick, tick'.
…Soniq refused to repair or replace my DOA speakers.
They offered a refund of $4 but refused to refund the cost of freight which was $12. They wanted to me to accept that I would be out of pocket $12 and left with broken speakers.
Sigh, time to start a complaint through the ACCC.

I would hold them to their word and speak to the store rep.
I bought 3 sets of the 2.1 one was DOA from JB which I got a refund for the other 2 are fine and the 5.1 set is also still kicking, used daily.
Yeah i'm in the same boat - haven't contacted them to repair. have tried the solder reflow but no luck.

Not as good as my Z623's but for $9 can't complain, powerful enough for gaming and decent sound for playing music.
