My August order was cancelled too. I was not too happy and emailed their customer service. They replied something along the lines of "we don't know whether it will ever come back in stock, hence we issued the refund, but if it comes back, you get it for the price from August".
I placed a new order now and sent another email to their customer service asking for $4 refund to get back to the August price - back then I had used a 10% off voucher and it was free shipping…

What courier did they use? I got a shipping notification yesterday that reads "Shipment with SHQ". Never heard of SHQ and Google does not turn up any useful information either…

yea its poor cust service in that regards, they just say our resellers will do the delivery and you get the tracking id just on the day of delivery or maybe a day before.

The dumb arses at DD didn't ever get my order to the warehouse due to a "technical problem" (yeah right). I called them after waiting a week for the delivery as no notification was received advising on when my order would be delivered. So after calling them and finding out the reason, then three more follow ups over the phone, i told some douche named Elmer to tell his management team what a poor buying experience it was and I wouldn't be buying from them again. He replied with a "thanks I knew you were gonna say that" in the most care free attitude.
Basically they don't care about customer service and by the looks of it their support staff are based in the Philippines so of you've dealt with TPG support (also Manila based), I can tell you these guys are much more horrible in comparison.
If you're gonna buy from these guys use PayPal.

Mine turned up today. First time I have actually seen them up close after seeing multiple posts over the years. They look and feel pretty strong, would definitely get them again at this price.
I contacted Deals Direct on 2 prior occasions since purchasing item. It would appear that the item is located overseas and their "Customer Service" is also outsourced overseas. Contacted them for the 3rd time today. After waiting 15 minutes, they now tell me that the item is "out of stock"! I cannot believe the poor customer service from Deals Direct particularly when they drop ship from overseas… Was offered a refund but we'll see whether that eventuates? BUYER BEWARE
PS Item purchased and paid for more than a month ago… hopeless
