    Anyone know what is happening for people who bought the discounted $44.90 vouchers from Coles and Woolworths? Can we switch to the $39.90 5GB plan and keep $5 from each of the recharges as extra credit?

        I think the simple answer is no. You will automatically be moved to the 5GB plan with 300 mins international calls as soon as you input the voucher if you are on any lesser plan when you input the voucher.

        I tried inputting in a voucher today to upgrade one of my son's plans to 5GB when his 2GB plan finishes in a few days. Amaysim immediately changed his plan to said 5GB with 300 mins intnl calls as apparently whenever you request to go onto a higher plan it does this immediately but if you want to renew onto a lower plan, it waits until the renewal date. As a goodwill gesture they refunded the remainder of the 2GB plan pro-rata as credit.

        This is certainly a trap for young players.

      No they come preactivated and by the time they come by post you lose days already.

        Contact them and have them extend it by the amount of days it took to arrive at your house.
        Works for me. Otherwise they are defrauding you by advertising one thing and providing you another different thing of lesser value.

        By their claims, and my experiences… their sims arrive same/next day.

        Hmm… Grabbing another SIM now, it says 2-5 days standard delivery.
        1pm now, and public holiday tomorrow, though.

    But who is still with amaysim may have a better chance, you can get a unique code for you friend to try UNLIMITED 2GB (normally $29.90) for $5 and you will enjoy your next month of amaysim for $5 too (with a current plan you are in). It doesn't say anything about when the expiry is but I think it will be expired as the same day as the use of FIVER code.
