How's this compared to MX200? I just bought one from Amazon couple weeks back right about the same price and it's 1TB as well.
Was supposed to be crap, but turned out it's pretty much as good as the MX200 in practice. The new BX200 succeeds where the BX100 failed.
BX100 is the good model, the new BX200 is a chunk of garbage surprisingly.
I still need to find something to offload my $100 ebay voucher, trying to wait for a big, cheap, good SSD or a 64gb Aussie unlocked Note 5 (coming soon apparently)Looks like the BX100 is better than the BX200 which is to replace it. Neither are at the Samsung 850Evo level, but if you can get the BX100 at a reasonable discount, then it might be worth it. Also worth looking at getting one from the US.
BX100 is not far short of the 850 EVO. Might say so on the benches maybe by 10%, but in practical real life terms its not really measurable unless your task is to do many many transfers daily. Of which there's always other solutions and that you shouldnt be going for a mid-range product anyway.
Anyone manage to grab anything during any shopping express 1hr sale?
Or when you get there everything get sold out at 8:01pm?
I got a 512GB M550 SSD in a previous deal, no issues picking it up within about 15 minutes of start. I don't think they ran out before the hour was up.
