That's an Electrolux model number, not a Samsung Fridge.

    • oops I was about to post a Samsung one but thought this one was better

So just RRP, less 20% because of the sale?

In theory it's no different to any of the listings under the sale…

    • Yes, but it is the first time appliances have been included on eBay and how often do you get 20% Off Appliances?

      • +2

Not the first time for sure. I have bought few appliances from Good guys ebay store @last ebay 20% off promotion.

        • +1

          First time for Masters

    • If this is their marketing strategy they're getting pretty desperate aren't they ? Masters is a cancer on Woolies. Won't be long till something is done about it.

  • Awesome news. Didn't think of buying big appliances like this. And with a new apartment this could come in mega handy.

I bought the lg door in door fridge with 20% discount in the past sales from appliances online.

  • not a bad price , $162 cheaper than Billy Guyatts $3649 (free shipping).
Masters doesn't ship, says pick up only.

hm i must have a slightly older model, i paid for my electrolux, same 690L, looks exactly like this fridge same functions for $2700 in June at Harvey Norman

    • HV doesn't have a 690l on their site currently. So a 510L for $2299
      http://www.harveynorman.com.au/kitchen-appliances/appliances…

      Save $1188.20 but 180l less

      • nope, my one definitely looks exactly the same as this electrolux one

2 doors icemaker and water dispenser on the left door, same 690L lol

this is super pricey, did it go up in price or something

      • ah i got this one:

        http://www.2ndsworld.com.au/electrolux-690l-side-by-side-fri…

it does look almost the same right?

        • Looks like a refurb to me.

If you're looking for 2nds, I'll sell you my fridge for what I paid for it, minus 20% depreciation…

        • @UncleRico:

I got mine from Harvey norman at that price and it was brand new shipped in (back in June), i went 2nds world also who were same price at the time but they stuffed me with delivery so i got a refund and went harvey norman instead

I am referencing 2nds world because they still have the weblink to this product vs harvey norman who do not sell it anymore

hence brings me back to asking why the same model i bought 5 months ago costs 1-2k more now that's crayyyyy. Glad i got it at the time, it was fun unboxing and ripping off the new plastic lol

  • I asked my refridgeration mechanic of 20 years which was best Kelvinator, westinghouse etc? and his advice was " They are all bad. just buy the one you like and pay for the extended warranty"

    • +1

Oooo extended warranty, I'll take three :)

    • He just wants more work. Better go through warrantee so he can charge full amount. Or he just hates refrigerators.

      • ha ha thanks

  • For that sort of money, stop pussy-footing about with an oversized plastic fridge and get a real cool-room. You know you want it.

  • +3

    zomg! $4k for a fridge

    • Yeah, some people have more $ than cents.

  • here is the $2669 model I am using at home, looks almost the same, older model :)

    http://www.2ndsworld.com.au/electrolux-690l-side-by-side-fri…

it does look almost the same right?

    • That's the same model but….it's not brand new, it's refurbished meaning:

A demonstration model, factory reworked or factory refurbished product.

But still a good price if you only want half the warranty are are happy with seconds

      • +1

        A demonstration model

Who knows how many times the doors have been opened and closed.
This will cause the rubber gasket to wear and tear alot quicker than a brand new fridge.

        • well i got mine from Harvey norman at that price and it was brand new shipped in (back in June), i went 2nds world also who were same price at the time but they stuffed me with delivery so i got a refund and went harvey norman instead

i am referencing 2nds world because they still have the weblink to this product vs harvey norman who do not sell it anymore

        • +1

          @Ninjabredman: :O That's so crayyy!

  • Hi,

What about delivery? Can order and go to store to arange for delivery?

    Regards,
    Cyclops

    • I think it is a limitation with eBays and Masters systems talking to each other that doesn't allow for delivery on Appliances at the moment. I'd suggest calling the store after you order to see what they can arrange for you.

      • Thanks, I will look into the Fridges available.
