    i use this one in combo with my 10" dobsonian telescope. it's used by quite a few serious amateur astronomers i know and i can recommend this.

      Its a classic bait and switch.
      They sell it at price and when sales drop they make it (bait)free, more word gets out and demand increases again then the price is turned back on(switch).

    I downloaded it about 20 minutes ago and it was still free then, so looks like I got it just in time (which makes a change, usually I'm one of those who misses out on these things!)

    If you like this kind of space app, check out www.stellarium.org (free for various platforms) and also spaceengine.org (also free AND incredible, PC only though).
