Great Price on these 20L Fuel Cans at BCF. Great time of the year to replace any old dirty leaky ones around the shed.

Fast Pour Rate - These empty super quick which is great when you want to dump the whole 20 litres
Internally stored pourer prevents contamination - I prefer this style over the ones that have to stay outside the can somewhere and get filthy or worse, lost.
You gotta assume at this price that you might need to get in quick.

  • Is this appropriate for diesel use? @_@
EDIT: perhaps not…? They have different cans for diesel…

The catalogue shows they are selling Red Petrol ones AND Yellow Diesel Ones, both at the same price

      • Both are on eBay at the same price. Just got one for $13.19

        • Yup, picking up two… :D

  • I think similar ones sold at Bunnings @ $20.

    Great deal though.

$13.19 click & collect if you buy on the BCF eBay store and use the CGIFT20 code :)

    • $12.62 if you also use the 3.5% cash rewards ;)

      • Even better! Might have to stock up on a few I think.. Jetski season is almost here! :)

  • Are we still allowed to call them Jerry cans, or is that racist now?

    • Not sure if that was meant to be funny, but there's enough PC these days. Some groups are offended at anything and we don't need any encouragement on sensitivity :)

I can't speak for all Germans, but the ones I know don't consider Jerry offensive. According to wikipedia, Jerry is not an offensive nickname. Yes, the cans were invented by the Germans.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terms_used_for_Germans…

Trivia for the day, some Germans (supposedly) call themselves ossi which would most probably be pronounced something like ozzie ;)

      • You PC too bro??~?!??

  • These items are not available. They may have been purchased already, or the listings have expired.

This is the ebay thing… wonder why… :/ I'll try a different store.

Tried a different store, didn't work. Ended up just buying em shipped to my house, the other further stores were gonna cost me more than $8 in stress and diesel.

    A friendly tip.
Buy 3 or more of them and fill them up when you fill your car up at the low in the price cycle.
Doesn't matter then if it's a 5, 7, 10 or 14 day cycle (depending obviously upon how many you buy and distance you travel).
With 20-30c cycle variance per litre, filling up these can save you $4-6 each time you use them in full, so pay for themselves very quickly.

    TO NOTE
Do NOT use E10 with them if you're not going to use the contents in full within 7 days max.
E10 absorbs water from the atmosphere and from my understanding, is the main cause of issues with this type of fuel.

I can understand diesel (not dangerous at room temperature) but I'm not sure I would like to have 60L of petrol (explosive at room temperature) sitting in the garage. Yes I know 60L might be sitting in the car fuel tank, but handling petrol in jerry cans always seems riskier.

  • Nice just got one with C&C for $13.19

    E85 here i come :)

  • Stupid BCF eBay. Doesnt allow click and collect from 6330.
Apparently click and collect also means postage, which they don't do ???

  • Plastic jerry cans vent fuel vapour into my car where as steel jerry cans never do. See my blog for how to make a great pourer as well. whatgusmakes.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/fast-steel-jerry-can-pourer_6.html?m=0

  • does this come with the pourer?

    • Internally stored pourer prevents contamination

So like those little tins you have your for your lawnmower. :)

  • Hmm anyone else getting Error code: 70084 70203 when they try to complete their transaction ?
Apparently the error is to i.d international orders, well shit, I'm local and choosing to click and collect!

    • I can't click and collect with free pick up from my local store that has stock……as apparently they don't post to my home address. WTF.

      • So it isn't just me experiencing issues with eBay's system.

    • Yes, experiencing the same problem

  • Ring up BCF TODAY and mention you're experiencing difficulties checking out with eBay, if you have tried and failed to purchase them there as CGIFT20 ends tonight I believe.
It's a case by case scenario, yet if you're poite, yet express your frustration, they may just draw up a coupon code for the extra 20% off from eBay, so you can complete the transaction directly on their site, as eBay and Paypal's sites are causing immense issues.

      Did it work for you.??

      • Didn't work for me. They said Ebay store is different and $16.49 is the best they can do.
Contacted Ebay they said they have a technical issue, try again in a few hours time.

I got told the same response from BCF Ebay, on Thursday and was told it would be rectified by end of day thursday, or friday morning at latest.

Too late on the ebay discount now.

      • It did, they manually generated a coupon to credit the difference after I stated how many I was purchasing (4 for those that wondered if I Brogened it)
