Woolworths $150 Gift Card turned up as $100

For those who applied for this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/211386#comment-3051324), check to make sure the gift card you received is $150 and not $100.

In my case, the gift card received today was only for $100, instead of $150.

Called Woolworths Money, and they accused me of only being eligible for $100 and asked for proof of the $150. As Woolworth Money has updated their site, the original deal can no longer be found. Luckily, I still have the confirmation SMS they sent me when my application was approval which stated the $150 gift card.

How ridiculous is this… either they are screwed (look at their share price) or they are trying to screw their customers.

  Their call centre in manila is hopeless… and doing a lot of damage to their brand image.

  looking at the google cache it says $100.

  edit - thats for applications to end of year, not yours that was before,sorry.

    Apply by 31 July 2015 and make a purchase by 30 September 2015

    OP is referring to the "apply before 31 October 2015" deal

  I always shop at my local Woolie because it's the closest. I could see how much it had degraded over the years especially at the self check outs and customer service. I don't think they are doing it intentionally but just that they are way under staffed and everyone is working under pressure.
