Seems a bit of confusion out there regarding whether the HDD is definitely soldered on? I'm looking to replace my PS4 drive, can anyone confirm?
As per previous comments, it's got a USB 3 to SATA converter, so it can removed.
last i checked Samsung portable hard drives including this one have soldered on USB interfaces. I would look at the portable Seagate ones for the ps4 as they have SATA-USB adapters which can be removed.
..and the confusion remains. Think I'll wait for the Seagates to go on sale ☺

I better contact Auburn (2144) Harvey Norman about my order. On 5th November I ordered one which I wanted to pickup instore. Today is 13th November, but still no phone calls or sms nor Email from them. On my Harvey Norman website account it still says this order is "Processing"… Do they really have stock or not???
