And who are u? Gandhis 4th monkey.

  • its in poundsterling ?

    • In the cart change the currency to AUD and that would take you to the Aus site. I should have put the aus link up there

  • Couldn't you just sign up 10 throw away emails? (Serious q)

    • +4

yes u definately can do so. Some ppl just dont get it

  • to rack : I got 7 tshirts and 1 hoodie - total $35AUD —> how ?
if buy 3 get 1 free and each 7.50, buy 6 means $45

    • +1

how about instead of me explaining to you, you stop being a lazy ass and put through the order and apply the discount. Total for me comes to $35

    • +1

It all comes down to the order in which they consider the various discounts. If you buy 8 t-shirts, that means that the cost is 8x15 = 120. Now, with with the 50%, discount this comes down to $60.

What I think happens is this: since it is buy 3 get 1 free, this is computed as a further $30 discount (the 50% voucher is not considered when calculating the value of the free t-shirts, so 2x15 =30). This $30 is subtracted AFTER the 50% voucher is considered. This would bring the total cost down to $30 dollars.

As you can see, this means that 7 t-shirts and a hoodie for 35 bucks is very plausible. I'm gonna personally try this out now.

Wow, some people really struggle with this internet thing eh?

Sign up to spamgourmet.com, one of the most useful website you'll ever come across. If that's too hard for you then give them 10 mailinator.com addresses.

This is a good deal for people who have a basic understanding of the internet

"Some may call it spamming but who cares" - I suspect the 10 teed-off friends and family members may care!

  • Annoy friends to buy shirts that no one likes hmmm slightly ironic

  • Please note: All email address' given will be checked for validity and we reserve the right to cancel any orders that have received 50% off by using false email address'

That website's calculations are seriously messed up.

Take the men's t-shirts as an example. Hoodies, etc. are similarly affected.

You can choose which currency you want, and depending on the currency, it takes you to a different site .uk, .au etc. All sites appear to be the same besides currency and prices.

But then, when you put a T-shirt in your shopping cart it always gets charged at 14.95 in the currency of your choice, be that GBP, AUD, USD or whatever. So why pay AUD - go for NZD - the NZ dollar is worth less than the AU dollar.

At the NZ site, buy 4 t-shirts. They go in your shopping cart at NZD14.95 each, minus one because of buy 3 get 1 free. Now your shopping cart shows total cost NZD14.95 times 3.

Now put in the coupon code for 10 email addresses. It then looks at the shopping cart total before the buy 3 get 1 free offer, which stood at NZD14.95 times 4. It calculates 50% of that as a reduction, i.e. reduces your current NZD14.95 times 3 by NZD14.95 times 2. Leaves you owing only NZD14.95 times 1!!!!

I will believe this when the post delivers 4 t-shirts and the credit card damage is only NZD14.95!!!

    • i will try this, but i think i have to create 10 emails then spam them first to get workign code.. the code posted by jump22 isnt working

      • I suspect the codes left here by rack and jump22 have already been snapped up and used by others. All codes are single use only.

I generated a code by using 10 @mailinator.com addresses, as suggested by PeterB87, just like jump22 did.

Regarding kyldrkn's comment: "Please note: All email address’ given will be checked for validity and we reserve the right to cancel any orders that have received 50% off by using false email address’"

I suppose it all depends on what check they do for validity. If all they do is send emails to the 10 addresses and make sure they don't bounce, then @mailinator.com addresses should I think work. It just depends how sophisticated they are at their checking.

When they work out that their website calculations of foreign currency and combining of discounts are all horribly messed up, they will also not be happy. Remains to be seen if they still honour the orders at those prices. I hope we will all report to this thread what happens next …

        • put thu an order followed above suggestion (NZ site)
order confirmed, 4 shirts total of NZD 14.95
now wait for the shirts arrive then i will report back
not sure how much AUD get charged on my creditcard, will check tomorow

  • My credit card has been charged about AUD12 for the equivalent of NZD14.95 for four T-shirts.

My order at CharGrilled still shows as "Payment Received" but "Not Picked".

Has anyone progressed further than this?

Is anyone still reading this thread?

    • Have you had any change from the 'not picked' status - do you think it is a typo and it is meant to be not packed??

      • Picking and packing are distinct activities.

Picking involves getting the items off the shelf for packing. See for example http://mhmonline.com/facilities-management/mhm_imp_4948

I got an email to say that my order with CharGrilled has been despatched first class via Royal Mail.

The order status at the website also now says "Shipped". So I may still get my four t-shirts for AUD12; plus 10 @mailinator.com email addresses.

  • hi. yeah me too, order despatched… now will wait.. should i buy another 4 ? quite cheap aud 3 each

    • oh oh All sites are down except UK and no 50% off anymore. And mine's still not despatched yet

      • nope today 22feb 1017am all sites are ok but yeah, no more 50% disc
maybe they took the sites down to fix the calculator lol

  • GOT MY SHIRTS TODAY… sizes are bigger than my expectation…
    THANKS for the NZD trick!

    • Got mine too - and I agree they are big, but 4 for $16 odd NZ dollars (I got one girls one) - can't complain too much
