  • Do you have to go, in person to get the AMEX credit?

    • Yes… it worked

      • No I mean if you order online, would the credit not work?

        • I believe that you have to go to the store… no online purchases

        • @bonky: Cool, ok thanks!

          C. Ineligible Transactions
          Offer only applies to spend on the enrolled Card. It does not apply to spend on any supplementary
          Cards (unless the supplementary Card number and primary Card number is identical) or other American
          Express Cards you might hold.
          The following transactions are not considered Eligible Transactions for the purposes of the Offer:
          1. Purchasing a merchant’s goods through a third party. For example through a department
          store and/or concession store (e.g. David Jones or Myer), online aggregator (e.g. PayPal) or
          retailer;
          2. Transactions made where the item is later returned;
          3. Transactions which are subsequently cancelled or refunded;
          4. Purchasing (online/in-store) Gift Cards from a merchant;
          5. Online purchases; and
          6. Transactions processed manually or using a paper based process (for example, transactions
          processed using a credit card imprinter).

        • @bonky: Yeah they also say "no gift cards" on the other cashback deals, yet I always get my money from buying wish/coles cards (since Amex don't appear to know what I purchased). I wonder if/how they can tell if you purchased online?

        • @supabrudda: It's possible their payment processor isn't in house tho right?

        • @hamwhisperer: yeah no one will know until its tried…i would but i already have a fluke multimeter

    A true ozbargainer will go to every store and collect the $10 per store Amex credit

    • Or do it online and get the email this morning from AMEX: "A $10 credit is coming your way". (Despite the T&Cs suggesting otherwise)

  • Thanks OP, got last one at Cannington.

  • OK so I got one, what do I do with it? :)

    • Anal Probe?

      • No you'd want the Megga for that ;)

        • but hes a tight arse!

  • sounds like a great store.

  • Can't believe it, just bought one at Bunnings last week!
