    • I think it's only classified as a dupe if the specific item is in the deals heading

I was thinking of trying it as a baby monitor but the reviews on Amazon are not too great.

    • If it's better than FOSCAM, then it should be great for a baby cam.
      I'm quite happy with 640x480 FOSCAM's.

  • Good price, for $99 better than the Foscam one.

Little confused with this one ? Has wiFi as well or needs Ethernet ??

How far from a power point can it be ?

Was thinking of running two of them but we have no mobile, but do have Wifi via internet. Just for security in case someone knicks stuff we (might) have a record of them :) Need outdoors (shed and porch)

    • Yes has Wifi, and as for how far from a powerpoint…..as long as you can stretch the power plug lead would be the answer :-)
You could potentially team it up with a set of powerline adapters and not do it over wifi which is probably a better answer depending on your setup.

    • If it has ethernet and is 12v you could just get a poe kit

  • Anyone know if these would be compatible with the Synology NAS Surveillance Station add-on? There are no Swann products listed in the IP camera Support List, but that doesn't surprise me with Synology being a Taiwanese Co.

Yeah I was surprised too. Looking for same answer
