Don't think I'll be buying from these guys in a hurry again. My last purchase of the Bear Grylls DVD Boxset, which was advertised on here, was cancelled after waiting 2 weeks already. How hard is it to only make available what is in stock!

    Any bargains??
Most books they sell are more than 10% cheaper elsewhere…

    • Diary of a whimpy kid, old school $9.99 reduced to $8.99, plus $7.50 postage. It's cheaper than bookdepository.com
      Does that count?

      • $8 at Kmart

  • I wouldn't buy from these guys if you are wanting the books/dvds in their stated delivery time of "2-4 business days". Like be25mojo, I've been waiting for 10 days and it still says my order has not been shipped. Facebook comments left on their page claim up to 3 months of waiting. Definitely not impressed.

  • Yeah I'm sure sites like bookdepository.com usually have free shipping and much cheaper anyways

Payments to this vendor show up as Booktopia. I wonder what is wrong with their systems that they can ship normal orders in a timely manner but not A&R orders?

    • They're all the same company now. Recently Booktopia bought A&R/Bookworld/any other brands from the old "Borders" retail group.
But that was only August/Sept. Maybe they're still integrating stock holdings software, or something along those lines?
