Says "Error processing coupon" for me. I was a subscriber previously. Maybe this is only for new subscribers?

  • Error processing coupon for me too, on 2 accounts (1 active, 1 expired).

  • "Coupon is invalid"

  • +1

One account instantly had "Coupon is invalid"

My main account let my click get started but then said "We're sorry, but Google Play Music is currently experiencing errors. Please try back in a few minutes."

  • eht no work mon

  • Anyone know how long this deal is on for?

    • +2

      3 months

      • I think he is asking when the deal expires. If it expires in 3 months this is good.

        • +1

it does expire in 3 months.. after that you gotta pay $11.99/m

:) and i know what he meant.

    • I mean have long is this coupon/offer available

    • Looks like it's this weekend only.

"3 months of music for $1
Get our Cyber Weekend deal now"

      • Cheers for that

Sick of these companies never rewarding their loyal customers. I've been with them since they started and can't get this deal.

They're just encouraging me to make a new account.

    • If you'd been with them since they started you'd be on their $10/month plan rather than the current $12 one, saving $24 every year.

    • Kinda like amaysim but way more global

Kind of like Pandora, only not free. ;-)

  • Didn't work for me probably because I haven't used the 30 day trial to begin with.

    • i haven't used my 30 days trial either… and it worked for me….

i tried a few different method and it seems like the method that worked for me is directly on a mobile phone connected to the account….. didn't seem to work if i was on the desktop… but that's just me….

    partially targeted

I thought a deal is either targeted or not. Didn't think there could be anything in between.

do they have Taylor Swift's latest albums?

    • Unfortunately 1989 is not on there. A few of her older albums are though.

      • You can just upload it yourself though

    Only for new subscribers.

  • i have been using RDIo with the vpn work around, been costing me about AUD2. but rdio have been bought out by Pandora, so no more cheap music subscription. hopefully this works for me

  • Mine says 'error while retrieving info from server' and I've never subscribed to unlimited or even started the free trial. How do I fix this

    • does it work with prepaid

  • I had a free 90 day trial about a year ago.
This seemed to work for me. 92 days for $1.
Then I'll change to Telstra Billing on my prepaid SIM.

    • how do you enable telstra billin on prepaid sim.

    • It's on the telstra web site.
iirc you can just select it on your phone when you're in Play Store.
Make sure the pre-paid SIM is in your phone.

      • it doesnt work for me qq

  • I've been using VPN to US.. Gives me spoitfy style radio playlists for free..

  • Apparently my $2.15 in Google Play balance is insufficient. Do you need to have enough for the first full price month as well?

  • Automatic subscription?
    It's quite tricky,careful.

  • I'm trying to start my 3 month by using $1 via my phone.

I go to the Menu and then Press shop.
I click the 3 months for $1 banner.
    It says coupon redeemed.

When I press subscribed I get the error message.

Error while retrieving information from server.
    [DF-PPA-10]

I've been trying all day today.
I don't want to buy from my laptop as I won't be able to use my telstra credit for the subscription.

I've tried going to app settings and clearing cache/data.

    Still no luck.

    Any ideas?

I can buy apps/books via Google Play store perfectly fine.

    • Now my error message has evolved from
      [DF-PPA-10]
      to
      [DF-PPA-09-16]

Still cannot get it working :(

    • Got it to work on my android. So if you get error message [DF-PPA-09-16]
Follow the instruction on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVO8j_z1Q-I
For Google Play Store & Google Play Music

It may not be necessary for Google Play Music as that isn't in the video, but I did that as my problem was with google play music and in the video the problem is fore Google Play Store.

  • I keep getting this

We're sorry, but Google Play Music is currently experiencing errors. Please try again in a few minutes.
    TRY AGAIN

I've used their three month trial when they first started… :/

  • i was getting all the same errors that everyone else has been complaining about yesterday and today, but just worked for me!

perhaps its now fixed? or case of persevering….

EDIT: And I have used the 3 months free offer before

  • Yeah thanks, just worked, need to use paypal or credit card, google play balance says not sufficient. I just signed up hoping to use Youtube Red when it launches here in Australia.

  • Cheers just tried it using the link and everything went through fine.
I have previously had 3 months for free of it as well, about the same time last year.

  • For anyone who has previously subscribed and is only getting 30 days, try this link https://play.google.com/music/listen?signup=1&coupon=PLAYDAY… worked for me!
