  • The recent G910 Orion Spark gaming keyboard is going for half price @ USD90 could be of interest to some

    • I have both, prefer the 910 for gaming (it's at home). And the 710+ for typing (lives at work). If that helps anyone decide.

      • Actually my 710 is different, brown switches with O-rings.

        • Is it the keycaps that make you prefer the G910 for gaming, and G710 for typing? Most people say the Romer-G is comparable to Cherry MX Brown switches.

        • @TheContact: Feels like I need more pressure to activate the keys on the 710. I find my hands tiring quicker gaming on it than the 910

    • Delivery is another USD22 or so, bringing the total cost to USD112 which is around AUD155. Not much difference compared to the cheapest local price in the AUD170 mark.

      • Comes up to $69.48 for me

I think Mucchan is referring to the G910

Don't buy this keyboard! The key caps are way too flimsy, it's a common fault. Sure enough mine started cracking at the two year mark and I got it replaced. A mech kb should last forever but now I'm stuck with a time bomb

    • Doesn't apply to the Cherry MX Blue variant as far as I know. The reason why keycaps are breaking is because they aren't designed with having o-rings in mind (so the keycap can't fully be inserted), and the orange version is the only version with o-rings
