  • Any deal for Dc54 animal pro?

  • THANK YOU. I've been waiting for a decent deal on the allergy one for around 6 months after missing the last one.

  • They have such bad reviews on Productreview.com.au but good reviews for the DC50 (cheapers too)

    Anyone with personal experience please?

    • I work for them, I do not understand how people give bad reviews for them but good reviews for DC50. Both have pros and cons but I reckon DC54 has more pros than DC50.

  • Allergy is pointless on a dyson. The HEPA filter it comes with isn't going to filter anything when you empty the dustbowl.

    • Try putting the bottle of the dust canister inside of the bin and never when it's full. Not an issue then.
      Also the DC54 is filterless.

      • Still sticks. The lid requires space to open up. Some dust will get stuck in the lid. Bad design.

        Why is it called allergy?

    • @lostn, from my personal experience, i have to say, it matters for me. even if emptying it is a nightmare, I can do that in an outside bin where it won't affect my wife who has allergies. whereas the HEPA filter means stuff isn't blown into the air in our apartment.

  • Bought one, at half of the RRP $899 price (I know, I know, it's hardly sell at RRP, but still), I will bite and try it out..

    Thanks OP.

  • Thank you!
