Thats a damn good price. I paid almost $800 for one a few months back. They are great TV if you are looking for something smallish.

How does this compare to Sony Bravia KDL55W800C - Ignoring the size difference and focusing on quality and features? From what I understand the smart TV features in the sony are better?

    • +1

even i am confused between the 2

      • KDL32W700C on harvey norman for same price ~~ 550

thats 32", and this is 40". IMO that would make the Sony way overpriced (compared to this deal)

Smart TV features on the Sony are arguably better as it runs android TV-you can sideload any android apps onto it, mirror your android device directly etc. Picture quality is subjective, but I found the Sony to have a tad less judder, especially when large objects are moving across the screen.

    • They are same. Samsung Smart TV even supports playstation somehow. Though if this TV has Tizen OS, now that's different story.

I am also after a small Smart TV / one with Netflix and possibly the FTA catch up apps, although this 40" is slightly too wide for the space I have (which is 850mm)…

Any other suggestions for a 32" to 40" Smart TV?

You could have a look at the LG32LF6300 choice recently recommended it in their latest TV reviews.RRP is $899 but selling at jb HiFi at the moment for $599 .

Cheers mate - will have a look.

    • My suggestion: Buy the 40" and make the space (LoL).

32" is really very small nowadays. And the price you pay for a 32" with FullHD Smart TV you could pay an insignificant amount more and get a 40" (like someone has pointed out above)

      • Well actually, I was thinking about it more this morning, and realised that once I mount it to the wall, the mount itself will hopefully create enough space to clear the door frame (which is currently the thing that is limiting the width) and give me that little extra space I need for the 40" :)

        • do it! I bought a 40D6400 a few years ago for about 800…looking at the price of this im spewing

Fantastic price for this.Choice magazine recommended this TV just last week in their latest TV review.RRP is $1299 usually sells for $1000 as other poster said they got it for a bargain at $800 so below $600 is a great deal .

    The 48" version is also a bargain! $718.40 + 3% cash rewards. Model UA48J6200AW

    • Jumped onboard this. Sub $700 assuming cashrewards goes through.

  • Was looking at this for pc gaming. Doesn't have dsub or dvi, my exp with using hdmi on my other TV was not good.

  • I got an email from paypal saying that I got charged $558.40, But my paylap app popped up stating that I got charged $698 and also shows that when i log into paypal.

    Has anyone had this issue?

  • Bugger, pulled the trigger earlier this morning when it was down to $598
