That is different from K3 Note ? Is that right ?

    • +1

Correct, K3 Note has a 5.5" screen, this is only 5" and only 1Gb RAM
      The A8 is OLD!

      • Oldie but goodie ? July 2014 wasnt that far away.

        • +1

Nah the SoC is old from late 2013.
Definitely go for the K3 from these choices.
Otherwise check out the Grand SII in the other JD post..
That's some serious hardware for $AU120.. pity that software support is lacking a bit.

I have the K3 Note version and running google maps the phone runs flat quicker than it charges off my 2.1 amp socket. Really slow to charge. Not sure of the rate but way slower than my old Samsung Note II. It means I need to have a fully charged phone and plug it in if I want to drive an hour or so away with GPS. I carry a power bank to charge it as I walk around my destination to get enough charge for the trip home. Also it shuts down due to heat on sunny day. Got to put my the aircon from time to time.

      That doesn't sound right.
Are you sure the cable is up to scratch?
      Try another cable.

Tried several cables and adapters. Even using my Xiaomi power bank and xiaomi original cable. Also some real nice high charge rate one that easily transfer 2.1 amp, but not into the Lenovo. The reviews say it is very slow to charge, and they are right, you can burn the electrons faster than it will take them on. The pain is when it's totally flat you can't run it off the power bank, you have to let it charge for a while before you can even power up. It's a great phone apart from this aspect.
