Usenetbucket - 25% Black Friday (e.g. 1 Year Unlimited 10Mbit - €24 / ~$35AUD)

110

I've used them for the last year without issue, and if you are happy with the 10Mbit speed its an incredibly cheap usenet provider for a years access.
Works out at 23.39EUR for 365 days of unlimited 10Mbit access (so about $35 AUD)

XSNews backed so maybe slightly quicker for 'missing files', but it hasnt been much of an issue whenever I get stuff via 'automated' means.

The 27th of November is a huge day for shopping gurus. It's Black Friday. The day where we look forward to the holiday season, go shop for bargains and plan our purchases days (or maybe weeks) in advance.
It's probably the most expensive day of the year and of course we are going to relieve the pain. You don't have to camp in front of a store to get our great deal; instead, we offer you a 25% discount on your purchase on the 27th of November.
This promotion will run from the 26th of November (11:00 CET) till the 28th of November (11:00 CET). We will notify you when the promotion starts; so you don't have to keep track of this great deal!
Happy Black Friday planning!

  • Never seen a Usenet deal on OzBargain before and now I've seen 3 in a single day. I find 50 connections are better than 25 though.

    • +1

There are usually usenet deals on OzB around Black Friday. No other time of the year, though.

    • ~6 pages of usenet deals since you joined OzBargain!

    • black friday = usenet deal day :)

  • Are these guys good?

    • They're new. That possibly means their servers and network are quite speedy at the moment.

      • I've been using them for several years. They are an XSNews reseller. The servers are not their own so to speak.

      • been using them for a year.. not that 'new' compared to some and not that 'old' compared to others ;)

  • Thanks, SBOB!!

  • What is the safest way to pay? Dont really want to cc details in.

    • shrug pretty much out of luck then unless you want to use bitcoin

Paypal has recently blacklisted a large number of usenet providers so your choices will be limited if you dont trust the provider enough to use CC (and aren't bitcoin savy)
