Not sure if this deal will be valid? If it was $60 outright I would jump on it in a flash, $49 cashback would be tempting. But $80 is still too much for me :( Hopefully some other good steam iron deals come along…

    "Internet sales via third party

I'm guessing Bing Lee eBay seller is still classified as a third-party as it is not through Phillips online? It makes sense the promotion wouldn't be valid for online third-party resellers some of whom may have already claimed the cash-back but I see no difference purchasing online from Bing Lee versus. purchasing in-store as for cash-backs and customer guarantees (but it does mention that in the T&Cs that eBay isn't eligible?)

This has already been discussed. eBay means private sellers. eBay Bing Lee is eligible because you get an invoice from Bing Lee and no where on it does it say eBay. Same with The Good Guys, Target, any other major retailer.

      • True if you didnt apply a ebay code to it. I've got the invoice and the discount appears on the invoice with 'ebay' clearly marked.

Anyone know what Phillips will do in these situations?

      • Where has it been discussed? Has anyone successfully claimed Phillips cashback promotions purchasing items through eBay? In my post I mentioned third-party resellers (or private sellers) it wouldn't make sense for Phillips to honour the cashbacks of Private Sellers who resell 'new' items but I don't see why Bing Lee would be exempt from the internet sales exclusion as the T&Cs state eBay sales are excluded.
