Is this with or without the 3.5mm jack?

    • +2

The model number for this is: 7MN-00003
The model number for ones with the 3.5mm jack is: EX6-00003

I'll opt out of this deal. Thanks for posting, but.

  • at the moment, the best price I can find is $55 from PCCG via pick up. This deal is pretty good.

  • so wired or wireless. .. ??

    • wireless, but only if you have the xbox one pc adapter

      • Thanks. That cost some 30$ isn't it ?

      • which costs around $30 on JB HIfi

  • Thanks OP. Been looking for a deal on the Logitech F310 for my son but might step up to this instead.

Thanks, I went to my local EB (Hobart) though and it was $50.

EDIT: never mind, just called them and it's $28 now. Thanks, I might go this because my son is only 2yo and probably won't appreciate the higher quality of the XBone controller…hahah

        • One issue with the Logitech is the position of the left stick is awkward for people with short thumbs. It's much further towards the center; I am an adult (with short thumbs) and I find the reach a bit far and it is uncomfortable. I was very happy when I upgraded to xbox controllers.

  • Out of interest does anyone use these for gaming on the pc? I have two 360 controllers and the wireless adapter and am wondering whether there are any benefits of upgrading to the xbox one controllers

    • +2

no, it's just lighter and better ergonomics. but that's all subjective.

    • One of mine Xbox360 controllers broke so gonna go with XBone for the new one. But like rogr I think functionally it works exactly like a 360 controller so it's about the feels. Subjective maybe but the consensus is it's an improvement, e.g. reviewers rave about the rumble triggers. Maybe future games will take more advantage?

    • I've been using a wired official XBox 360 controller for about two years now. I recently bought an official XBox One controller to replace it. For most games you won't notice much of a difference except if you need the precision of the D-Pad which is superior in the XBox One controller. The main difference for me is that the triggers are slightly easier to push down which means in longer gaming sessions your hands won't become as sore.

    • I have the new halo Xbox one controller and the wireless adaptor for my PC. The Xbox one controllers are more accurate than the 360 ones and the rumble motors and triggers feel better. At first the thumbsticks were like sandpaper but after a few days they softened and it doesn't bother me anymore, but they are smaller than the 360 ones . You can get replacement thumbsticks mods if it really bothers you. The other thing I like is I can turn off the Xbox one controller by holding the home button and it also auto switches off when my PC powers down unlike the 360 controllers.

It's a nice upgrade especially as all my 360 pads are pretty much played out but it was an adjustment as its smaller in size. I'd love to see the internals of the Xbox one in a 360 pad case…that would be a perfect combination.

    • No reason, I actually prefer the 360 controller.

  • would these have vibration feedbacks on PC?

    • yes

    • +1

Vibration yes, but not individual trigger rumble I believe.

  • What do you need to work Xbox 360 games on PC as have just upgraded to a Xbox one and will have spare,is it wired or wireless you can use on PC?

    • +2

Nothing…just play your 360 games on your xbox one…

  • They do have some great prices sometimes but just be sure to check latest Store Reviews before you buy anything from them.

With 40 units and a 1-hour window it's not worth the bother trying to get one. I've had enough of melting servers for bargains to bother trying for this sort of "deal".

  • I'm impressed, the server didn't crash. I was able to get one, I really wasn't expecting to.

  • wow it was all gone within 30 mins.

    • +1

More like 5. I was able to get one because I had placed it in my cart beforehand, then just refreshed at 9:00 and paid.

  • Yup and they just got so many accounts that registered for this one deal. Signed up for nothing, clear waste of time.
