    Smells like Spam:

And further to be eligible for a scholarship:

    Financial hardship
    Unemployed
    Full time student
    Natural disaster hardship
Disability impacting on ability to pay enrolment fee

    • Check out my other posts mate, no spam.

      • -2

Should be more honest and upfront on how to access scholarship and put in the body of your "Eligibility Criteria" rather than find out after you have clicked the apply button.

        • -3

I put the 'hard' edibility criteria up. The rest, I have wiggle room. Hence, not putting it up.

        • -2

@batesy15: Fully disclosure of any T&C's would be appreciated by the OB community so we can make an informed decision.

        • +1

It's hardly worth a neg. Even though you click the apply button, you don't have to fill out any information.

It also doesn't make the course any less of a deal.

  • Do I get a "free" laptop?

    • +1

It's not Vet Fee Help, so no debt, and no laptop. Free or not free.

  • "-You must not hold any Australian qualification at the same level or higher than the qualification you are enrolling into"
Does this mean if i have a Diploma in I.T i cannot sit the Training and Assessment one?

    • When did you complete the Diploma mate?

      • Around the middle of this year!

        • Bugger. Nah sorry mate, if it was older there are exceptions - but I'm afraid it's too recent.

        • +2

@batesy15: Could you list those exceptions? I wasn't aware there were any.

        • @nmachine: Really just depends on the age? There are, we just have to make an application.

        • @batesy15:
No worries, thanks for getting back to me!

        • @batesy15: OK so if the middle of the year graduation is too recent to qualify, what is the latest that one could graduate for them to be eligible?

        • +1

@nmachine: To be safe, and this is an application process, so it can be rejected - middle of 2013.

        • @batesy15: so I've got an advanced diploma and couple of certi 3's i obtained 6+ years ago, so I'm eligible?

        • @mikey31: Sure, do an application and I'll have a squiz.

    National Training, Victoria only.

    • ^ Victorian Training Guarantee is only for, as you could imagine, Victoria. We can train Nation wide, however we only offer Cert III Guarantee in QLD and Smart and Skills funding in NSW.

  • You must be enrolling in a Certificate IV course

    Can you clarify this?

    • Hey Banana,

It just means you must be enrolling in a Cert IV - although it is a bit of a misnomer because we do have a Cert III as apart of the program.

If I put it in, it confuses people, if I don't, people get annoyed.

      • So if I am not undertaking anything I am not eligible for the program?

        • ^ just have to be enrolling in a Cert IV in our program. You don't have to be ' not' undertaking anything else.

        • @batesy15:
          Thank you for clarifying :)

  • Hi,
I am currently studying and will be finished in february next year. If I chose one of these courses and apply could I start it after Feb next year?
    Thanks

    • +1

Unfortunately no, you have a 10-12 month period to complete - that's all the time you get, so if you enrol now the clock starts.
