Does that make it only half good?

It's NOT half bad, so it cannot be half good either.

There are also $99 Perth<>Melb and Perth<>Sydney flights, which is great.

  • Tiger seem to be a half empty glass type of airline

    • half empty 4l cast

Are there ever any discounted flights during school holidays… or would that be just too FULLY GOOD.

  • Tiger has lifted it's game…

Virgin Australia achieved the highest on time arrivals among the major domestic airlines at 89.8 per cent, followed by Qantas at 88.3 per cent, Tigerair at 85.4 per cent and Jetstar at 80.2 per cent.

Virgin Australia also achieved the highest level of on time departures for October 2015 at 91.0 per cent, followed by Qantas at 89.1 per cent, Tigerair at 86.8 per cent and Jetstar at 76.9 per cent.

QantasLink had the highest percentage of cancellations (2.1 per cent) during the month, followed by Jetstar (1.7 per cent), Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (1.5 per cent), Virgin Australia (1.1 per cent), Qantas (1.0 per cent), Tigerair (0.4 per cent)

    • Good to see it's in the ballpark with the major players.

Most people usually want to go with Jetstar if they can price match as they were the 'better of the worst', they're really falling behind though. 25% of Jetstar flights being delayed sounds about right. Sales aside there's plenty of times where they cost similar if not more than Virgin & QANTAS, not a great tradeoff for a 1/4 chance of wasting your time.

  • +1

Jetstar refused to price match because of a 5 minute difference. :(

    • +1

Look at the on-time stats above, everything else is pretty comparable so I'd take Tiger any day atm.

      Book above

  • -1

don't think jetstar does price march.bcz their terms and conditions say only do so for single trip, not return trip

  • +1

Just note that Tiger often has unadvertised deals for a few dollars more in mid and high season - making winter travel unnecessary. Last week it was often $39 to and from Sydney and the Gold Coast, for example.

"Pay with an Australian issued Mastercard debit card to avoid any booking fees."

Pro tip: Pay with a MasterCard Credit Card but select 'Australian issued MasterCard Debit' from the drop down.

    • Thanks - thats a good tip I didnt know about.

    • May work for you but they knew my Coles Mastercard wasn't a debit card.
