Hey guys just found these at dicksmith it is an okay price i guess! obviously they can not always be $5 unless Panasonic wants the Sanyo branding gone? then we might see cheaper prices for old stock!

Eneloops sold on Amazon are still made in Japan in case you didn't know, probably not as cheap as the Amazon basics though.
yea i bought some from amzon i like getting ones with newer dates!
But i also bought some soshine they are made in china and work just as well they are about 2500mah i got them from fasttech for like $6 for 4 they have a new model now but not cheap!
to buy 8 works out the same price as these i know soshine will always be good quality i use a soshine 16340 daily for my EDC torch but the capacity is on par with what i want 2700Mah

you can always buy these but they do not get as many recharges per life cycle but i love these because of the capacity is so high 850mah but only 500 recharges! they keep 75% of the energy after one year left on the shelf…
so its a trade of more Mah or more recharges?

Come on, Sanyo was long gone since they discontinued their last double decker.
well they are slowly changing the enloop to Panasonic but the lithium batteries are staying sanyo still! so you still buy either Panasonic or Sanyo lithium's
Gee, makes me yearn for the good ol' days when DS had eneloops regularly on sale for $14.99 and some of the stores actually had stock for clik'n'collect stock. Lucky I bought more than I needed back then.(some people say you can't have too many eneloops - and they may be right!)

Any standard enloop charger should work nothing special about these except they are made in Japan I use the nitecore d4 to charge my NImh cells but its a bit slow only 375mah charging current
