    • did you even look, every store in Aus shows in stock when I check, it's a new model

      • +1

in their mobile site it says 'no stock'.. was looking from my mobile.

        • +1

ok that explains it, don't ever use mobile sites for stock info :) they are useless

        • @TRENT86:
Can't find it on DSE website. Could you please provide a direct link to the product for stock info.
          Thanks

        • @djshitu: its in the post

        • @TRENT86:
Sorry, but I don't seem to find a "Buy" button on the product. Also, I searched the DSE site and couldn't find the product. I am using Chrome.

The link in the post takes me to catalouge with option of "find stores" only…
          I am confused.

        • @djshitu: Oh you're talking about the Nav, that's in store only man, I thought u mean the TV

        • @TRENT86:
          That explains it. Thanks

  • I saw the Tom Tom on sale last week for the same price, so not sure whether there will be many in stock.

  • Try checking out and then checking the click and collect, enter your closest stores postcode and see what it says. I initially got the same out of stock but upon checking it then says all stores near me have it for pick up and in stock today

  • Do people still use these things its free on a mobile phone.

    • I use google maps all the time. I am considering getting a GPS only for camera, school zone, speeding etc alerts. Do you have a phone alternative?
      Genuine question

      • +1

I use Here maps find it good its free and works offline with downloaded map of Australia about 800 meg.

        • I second that, here maps are the best, gives you the real feel of a GPS and the best part is, you can take it overseas and use it offline without paying for data.

        • Been using here maps as well and it's a good free software. But it lacks the lane guidance and speed cameras alert. Lane guidance is useful on unfamiliar road. I still occasionally miss turns with here maps on some roads, some part of its map is confusing

  • price match at officeworks :D:

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/tomtom-via…

I use the tomtom as a back incase my phone stuffs up or no reception available with vodafail :P

@paulaus: I'll check out 'here maps' and hope its as good/close to google maps. I've tried maps.me and found its routing is sub par compared to tomtom/google maps

    Thanks for sharing op

This item is ordered directly from the manufacturer, therefore not available for next available delivery day. Special Order items are not eligible for price matching.

  • OP - You might want to add this to your post:

The 50" version of the JVC tv is available on the ebay store. With the 15% promotion ebay is currently running, it brings it down to $595 C&C. Pretty good deal.

    • No not the same. OP posted UHD where your link is only FHD.

  • is the TomTom Via 280 sold out? how do i get one?

    • Nha it's just not online, it's in store only

  • Thanks OP. Couldn't find stock at my local DSE so I went to JB with the catalogue and got them to price match.

  • Tom-tom go 600 are being cleared too at $100

  • I couldn't get JBHifi to pricematch the via280 in Sydney CBD. Sales person said DSE is having liquidation sales and so they do not have to pricematch them. Ended up going to DJ Mac Ctr and managed to get the TomTom go 60 for $79.98. They sold out of the via 280.
